Today we needed to help Marie and Sophie push their boat into the water and as such we learnt more about the two reasons why it was so hard - gravity and friction. We even made a few experiments with friction. As true scientists we first recorded our hypotheses and then tested them. There were a lot of surprises!
Equipped with the new knowledge we then built a device to help Marie and Sophie and got really creative with it! We further practiced our communication skills presenting our creation to the group.
We also read a story and talked about how the protagonists felt at different points in the story. We discussed what kind of feelings we knew, and that absolutely all feelings were ok but what was not ok is to act blindly driven by some of them. Later in the course we'll learn some coping techniques to help us avoid that.
